Andrew Farebrother’s top 5 EUGM tips

As the time approaches for the OperaFEA European User Group Meeting, which takes place in the middle of June in Oxford, Account Manager Andrew Farebrother offers his top 5 tips to get the most out of the meeting.

#1. Network, network, network

The user group meeting is your opportunity to meet other Opera users and talk to Opera’s designers so don’t be afraid to talk to other delegates during breaks, over lunch and in the evenings

#2. Ask a question

With sessions across magnet, machine and other aspects of electromagnetic design, it is the perfect opportunity to pose that question that has been bugging you

#3. Take advantage of training

We’ll be running different training sessions during the meeting, along with regular hints and tricks sessions so be sure to book yourself on to a session

#4. Give us your feedback

We’re always willing to listen to your thoughts and ideas for what the software can do next, and what is most helpful to you at the EUGM so don’t be afraid to voice your view

#5. Enjoy the relaxed vibe

We try very hard to make the whole meeting an enjoyable and informal experience for all concerned, down to the location and venue and session selection – so sit back, relax and enjoy your EUGM!
