Along with the new Opera-2d software currently under development, a completely new scripting language will be made available to Opera users. The Python language will offer a much more flexible environment for scripting models, controlling simulations and manipulating data. An easy-to-use and extremely powerful language, Python will enable Opera users to easily expand the capabilities of their finite element simulations and maximize the performance of their designs.
This training session will present the new scripting capabilities developed for the Opera-2d, along with the dedicated modules which are used to build, setup and post-process Opera models. The session will include a series of examples scripted in both Opera Command Language (comi) and Python, and it will discuss the transition from comi scripts to Python.
